Arkansas Game & Fish Commission

The Arkansas Game & Fish Commission honored Duane Hada by inducting him into their Arkansas Outdoor Hall of Fame in 2022. Hear Duane’s story at the click of a button when you watch the video on the right.

Duane’s partnership with AGFC began long before his induction into the hall of fame. Throughout the years 1994-99, Duane played a role on the Bass Task Force, helping AGFC develop their state-wide management plan for Smallmouth Bass.

Not only did AGFC partner with Duane as a conservationist, but also as an artist. In 2014, he was commissioned to customize the Forrest L. Wood Crowley’s Ridge Nature Center in Jonesboro with indoor & outdoor murals.

Duane was also commissioned by the AGFC to paint pieces detailing the species of major Arkansas’ waterways. From left to right, these pieces are pictured below: Lake Ouachita in Summer, Bull Shoals Tailwater, Autumn on the King’s River, Spring on the Arkansas River, and Bayou Meto in Springtime

The Witt Stephens Jr. Nature Center in Little Rock, AR, commissioned Duane to paint their outdoor support pillars like trees and local wildlife that take refuge or build their homes in the trees, drawing visitors in to experience and conserve the wonders of nature and local wildlife.

Throughout the last 2 decades, Duane was also commissioned to paint covers for the Arkansas Game & Fish Trout Guide Magazines:

These are just a few examples of Duane’s work for the Arkansas Game And Fish Commission. Since the early 90’s, he has been honored to be involved in AGFC’s mission as a conservationist and artist, using his art to tell the story of Arkansas’ wildlife and draw others to love & protect it too.
